Organizing committee of 9th “Gagra Talks”, International Conference on Fundamental Questions of Neuroscience, informs you about main topics and some important dates and deadlines.

15/05/2010 – Deadline for submission of abstracts for oral presentation of invited speakers (extended to 30/05/2010)
15/06/2010 – Deadline for submission of abstracts for Posters
31/08/2010 – Deadline for submission of full text of oral presentation of invited speakers to be published in special volume, devoted to 9th,, Gagra Talks”.

Deadline for submission of full text of oral presentations is August 31, 2010.
Citation
Full text of oral presentations with discussions will be published in special Book – 9th “Gagra Talks” volume 8, 2010.
TIPS ABOUT THE FORMAT OF YOUR ABSTRACT
Prepare your text with your usual word processor, taking into account the following indications:
Title
The title must be in one paragraph. Maximum length: 250 characters and signs, without spaces. You should avoid non-standard abbreviations.
Full text length
Full text length including tables and figures is limited to 15 pages, taped with 1.0 line spacing.
Tables and figures
Tables and figures are allowed.
THEMES AND TOPICS
You will be asked to select one or two themes. This selection is important because it will decide the particular session at which your poster will be displayed. See the list of main topics.
Authors
The number of authors is not limited. For each author, type in the name, the initials of the first and middle (M) names, and the indexes of the laboratories separated by a comma.
Institutions
Fill in the list of institutions to which the authors belong.
Full text body
Full text body can have several paragraphs: Introduction, Methods, Results, discussion, Conclusion, References.
Abstract Submission
Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the e’mail emukhvari@biphysiol.ge. Deadline for abstract submission for oral presentation is May 15, 2010 and June 15, 2010 for submission of abstracts for Posters.
Invited speakers must be first authors on the abstract of their presentation.
By submitting an abstract, the authors certify that their work complies with the ethical guidelines for human and animal research.
Citation
Abstracts will be published on the 9th “Gagra Talks” website and in the 9th “Gagra Talks” special Abstract Book, volume 1, 2010.
